Our Promise to You

Stewart Miller Insurance is the trading name of Stewart Miller McCulloch & Co Ltd and is an independent intermediary dealing with a range of insurers. Stewart Miller McCulloch & Co Ltd are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). We are licensed under the Consumer Credit Act and the Data Protection Act.

Policy wordings are under constant review to ensure that our clients benefit from the latest changes in legislation and the market place.

Complaints Procedure

If you have cause to complain, or if you feel that we have not kept our promise, please write to the Managing Director at Stewart Miller Insurance. You will receive a reply with details of who will be dealing with your complaint. You will receive a full response to your complaint within eight weeks. If your complaint is about your insurance or your insurer, write to the Chief Executive of the insurer named on your Certificate of Motor Insurance. When you do this, quote your policy number as it will help to deal with your complaint as quickly as possible. They will acknowledge your complaint and advise you of their complaints handling procedure.

All of the above procedures do not affect your right to take legal action if necessary.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme

We are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Law Applicable to the Contract

Any Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties agree herewith that any dispute arising out of it shall be subject to the (non-) exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
